The i3+ EVO's built-in dust bin can hold 2.4L of trash and is enough to get it through five or four cleaning sessions before you need to replace it.
This model, like the i7, utilizes state-of-the-art floor-tracking sensors to create maps. It also lets you navigate through neat rows. However the i3+ EVO only stores a single map while the i7 can store multiple. The i7 is also able to utilize its map to create no-go zones and virtual barriers, however the i3+ EVO cannot.
The i3+ EVO is more effective of removing surface debris in comparison to other robovacs we've reviewed, but it is not the best at cleaning corners and edges. It's also less gentle on furniture, despite being relatively quiet. It was a bit rough on furniture, since it moved chairs away. It also caused collisions with the sides of the test bed.
2. Black & Decker Pro Q5
If you're looking to expand your robot vacuum collection or just starting out using one, the Q5 Pro is a great option. It features an elegant design with a powerful navigation system, as well as useful automation at a reasonable price. You can schedule cleanings or set up no-go zones. You can also check the battery status. The app is simple to use, however it does not support Apple HomeKit. This feature is scheduled to be added in 2025. Apple changed its footnote on its website in early November to reflect the fact that this feature has been delayed until 2025. A few other robots aren't compatible with HomeKit, but many of them work with Siri Shortcuts.
